Boudoir Photography: Why Should Models Have All The Fun?
Boudoir – a lady's private bedroom, sitting room or dressing room. The term derives from the French verb bouder, meaning "to be sulky" or boudeur, meaning "sulky".
In comparison, Boudoir photography is a collection of intimate photos capturing the subject in very little clothing with a tasteful yet sexy manner. Boudoir photography is the latest craze in women's portraits today, however this can be a rather expensive investment and Brabary wants to make sure you're prepared!
Choosing The Photographer
When you're baring it all nerves can be hard to battle, therefore, this should be someone you feel comfortable with. Meet with your photographer prior to the session. Look over their past work and don't be afraid to ask questions and run through the process. A good photographer will know how to position you and will use lighting to your advantage. Imperfections like scars, cellulite and blemishes can be easily erased in post-production, but be sure to voice concerns so they know the standard you expect. Your confidence will show in your photos so it's important you feel it!
Choosing The Intimates
Because you're not wearing much what you are wearing should be beautiful and make a statement! Don't feel obligated to lock down on one outfit. Bring a few things to change up the look and get more bang for your buck! Here is a few examples of "barely-there" outfits:
Get a little more fun...
Wear your man’s favourite jersey, t-shirt, button-down or neck tie! What about your go-to jeans with your favourite bra? Show off the real you, after all that's what this is all about!

- Bra/Panty Sets
- Lingerie/Silk Nighty/Slips
- Corsets
- Thigh-high stockings
- Heels
- Jewlery (for that extra sparkle)

The details make all the difference! Head over to your local spa and get a fresh mani-pedi and maybe even a wax. If you're out in the sun try to avoid getting tan lines and if you already have some consider a spray tan to blend the contrasting skin tones.
Now relax and have some fun! Why should models have all the fun? Boudoir photography should be a gift for yourself. So strut your stuff and uncover your inner goddess (and if you need a helping hand come see us at Brabary!)

Living life to the fullest
Battling breast cancer is extremely difficult. We at Brabary know first
hand the sense of femininity and confidence one gets when putting on a well fitted bra. It’s important to feel good and Amoena® gives
you the natural silhouette, softness, and security you need after breast
surgery.
Changes in body image are hard for every woman and it takes time and
patience to adjust to these changes. But this doesn’t mean your wardrobe and
the way you feel when you put something on has to.
Brabary strides to give every woman choices not avoidances and for some
that starts with an Amoena® breast prosthetic.
A breast prosthesis is an artificial
breast form that fits inside a bra to replace all or part of a natural breast. For the most part they are made up of a soft
gel material, resembling the density and feel of a natural breast.
Breast
prostheses should resemble the remaining breast as closely as possible in look
and shape, and create a natural body silhouette for women. Among them are
silicone breast prostheses with special features, such as a self-adhesive back
or a prosthesis whose self-shaping inner layer adapts to the individual’s chest
wall or scar area.
