Living life to the fullest

Battling breast cancer is extremely difficult. We at Brabary know first hand the sense of femininity and confidence one gets when putting on a well fitted bra. It’s important to feel good and Amoena® gives you the natural silhouette, softness, and security you need after breast surgery.
Changes in body image are hard for every woman and it takes time and patience to adjust to these changes. But this doesn’t mean your wardrobe and the way you feel when you put something on has to.
Brabary strides to give every woman choices not avoidances and for some that starts with an Amoena® breast prosthetic.
A breast prosthesis is an artificial breast form that fits inside a bra to replace all or part of a natural breast. For the most part they are made up of a soft gel material, resembling the density and feel of a natural breast.
Breast prostheses should resemble the remaining breast as closely as possible in look and shape, and create a natural body silhouette for women. Among them are silicone breast prostheses with special features, such as a self-adhesive back or a prosthesis whose self-shaping inner layer adapts to the individual’s chest wall or scar area.

The Mental Leap from Wrong Bra to Right Bra

Any bra fitter will tell you that the most rewarding moments are when you fit someone who's been languishing in the wrong bra into the right bra. It's wonderful to see the mixture of disbelief and joy when a client realizes her boobs don't need to rest on her midriff anymore! However, just physically getting someone into the right bra isn't the whole story. For some women being in the right bra can be as mentally distressing as the physical strain of being in the wrong bra.

Don't Get Used to Low and Wide Boobs
Some women spend decades in the wrong bra, it becomes their norm and even though they experience shoulder dents, riding bands and sagging breasts, their 'wrong' bra is familiar. When you wear the wrong bra for a long period of time you'll get used to your breasts either lying low against your body or spreading wide across your body. Either way, your breasts will appear to have less volume because they're being spread over a larger area than if they were in a correctly fitting bra.

Breasts look so much bigger when they're unsupported and spread out

Looking Back on Victoria’s Secret Million Dollar Bras

Every year Victoria's Secret holds an annual show to display what's in store for the current year's catalogue. Filled with creative set designs and detailed costumes worn by hot Victoria's Secret Angels, the Victoria's Secret annual show is anticipated highly each year.

One highlight of the show is when the chosen model who wears the iconic Fantasy Bra walks the runway. Each year, Victoria's Secret picks out from their list of top models on whether who would be fit to wear the million dollar bejeweled bra.

Victoria's Secret Angles who have worn and modeled Fantasy Bras are Tyra Banks, Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, Karolina Kurkova, Marisa Miller, Adriana Lima, and this year would be Miranda Kerr.

In 2000, Victoria's Secret was declared having the most expensive bra and panties set priced at $15 million by the "Guinness Book of World Record." The expensive lingerie was modeled by Gisele Bundchen.

For this year, Miranda Kerr will wear an aqua inspired, diamond-studded Fantasy Bra. Its estimated price is $2.5 million, including the diamond tassels that drop from the middle section of the bra.

"It's such an honor to wear the bra," Miranda told People magazine. "And it's such a piece of artwork! It's absolutely stunning - it kind of feels a little mermaid-like but I can't believe I'm wearing $2.5 million on my chest."
