Care for your swimwear and you'll wear it for years

A good swimsuit will be with you for many years. That’s why swimwear fashions tend to be more universal and less tied to current trends.

There are also chlorine-resistant suits for aquafit lovers or “pool hounds” – these tend to be less embellished in design, but with a good fit you can still have a very flattering swim suit. 

Packing the Right Swimwear For Your Next Vacation

When you’re on vacation, you’ll be in your bathing suit all day long, going from sleepwear to swimwear to evening wear. And goodness knows you wouldn’t want to be seen in the same suit two days in a row :-)

With swim suits, one cup size does NOT fit all!

Feeling good in your swimwear begins with making sure you have the right fit. The best bathing suits are custom-fitted to your bra size. Unfortunately, in many stores all suits are made to fit a B-cup. If you’re not a B-cup, you’ll be forced to compromise by getting a larger or smaller body size than you need.

If you’re into athletics like beach volleyball, it’s even more important to be fitted in a bathing suit that has your proper cup size. Otherwise you won’t have enough support for those activities.

Shop at home first

Before you head out to shop for swimwear for your next trip, look in your own closets and drawers. Try on the suits you have and see where you need to fill the gaps.

If everything fits but you still want to refresh your swimwear wardrobe, you can add some new colourful accessories like bags, hats or cover-ups.
